Joint PST-GST/HST Seminar |

Together the Ontario Ministry of Revenue and Canada Revenue Agency continue to deliver FREE, fully integrated provincial sales tax (PST) and goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax (GST/HST) seminars across the province.
The seminars are geared towards small to medium size businesses, are available in both official languages, and continue to educate and inform taxpayers about:
- how the taxes work;
- explain tax credits and overpayments;
- help them understand the similarities and differences between PST and GST/HST;
- clarify their responsibility for collecting and remitting the two taxes; and
- answer their questions
These seminars are an opportunity to inform and educate taxpayers about federal and provincail tax laws, which will encourage voluntary compliance and assist in combating the underground economy.
