Chamber Shopping Spree Winner! |
On Monday December 15th the Mayor of Minto David Anderson was at Out To Lunch in Palmerston to draw the winner of the Minto Chamber of Commerce annual Shopping Spree Contest. This years winner is Elizabeth Kuersten of Minto! Congratulations to Elizabeth from every one at the Minto Chamber of Commerce. Elizabeth has won $300 to go shopping in Minto at Minto Chamber of Commerce members, as well as lunch out and will be toured around in a vehicle provided by Harriston Motors!
The Chamber of Commerce would like to whole heartedly thank all of our 34 participating members for getting involved with this year's shopping spree. Your participation means that we gave away over $1,500 in prizes to 35 winners in total. In the process we hope that we were able to encourage more people to stop into your stores, experience even more of what Minto has to offer and to promote your businesses. |

Perfect weather, snow on the ground and large crowds were just some of the things that made the Harriston and Clifford Santa Claus parade special! This year in front of the special float carrying Santa Claus, your Minto Chamber of Commerce Elves were handing out candy canes and promoting the Minto Chamber Shopping Spree! 34 businesses from the Chambers' 140+ members participated in the shopping spree. Contest early bird winners were drawn Monday night December 1st at the Holiday Social. Winners will be announced here shortly. The Grand Prize winner will be drawn on December 15th.
